How to delete your Kick account
Kick is a live streaming platform launched in 2022 as a Twitch alternative with a more creator-friendly revenue split. Kick is operated by the Easygo group (also behind Stake.com). Kick stores your channel, VODs, clips, chat history, follower lists, and (for revenue-share creators) tax and payout information. Kick currently does NOT offer a self-service deletion option — you have to email support, and the process can take several weeks.
Delete your Kick account, step by step
- 1From the email tied to your Kick account, send a message to support@kick.com
- 2Subject: 'Account Deletion Request — [your Kick username]'
- 3Include: your username, registered email, account creation date (approximate), and an explicit statement that you want the account permanently deleted
- 4If you live in the EU/UK or California, cite GDPR Article 17 or CCPA right to delete
- 5Verify your identity via the follow-up email Kick support sends
- 6Wait for a confirmation that the account has been closed (usually 2–6 weeks)

- ✗Cached pages on Google and re-uploads to YouTube/TikTok stay outside Kick

- ✗Mirrors of streams on sites like Streamable or Twitter clips
Before you delete
Kick does not currently expose a self-service 'Delete account' button. The only documented path is an email to support — keep records of the request and any reply in case you need to escalate to a regulator. Cancel any active subscriptions (yours or those buying your subs) and settle outstanding payouts BEFORE submitting the request so payment doesn't get stuck.
Download your data from Kick first
Most platforms only honor a data-export request while the account is still active. Do this before you delete.

Why can't I delete my Kick account through settings?+
Kick has not yet built a self-service deletion tool. The only documented method is to email support@kick.com (or privacy@kick.com) from the email associated with the account and ask them to close it.
How long does Kick take to actually delete an account?+
Reports range from a few days to several weeks. If you don't hear back in 30 days, send a follow-up. EU/UK users can escalate to their national data protection authority if Kick doesn't respond within the GDPR-mandated period.
What should I include in the Kick deletion email?+
Your username, your registered email, and a clear sentence: 'I am requesting permanent deletion of my Kick account and all associated personal data.' If you're in the EU/UK or California, also cite GDPR Article 17 or CCPA right to delete to invoke statutory rights.
Will my Kick VODs and clips be removed?+
Yes — Kick's support team removes channel content as part of the account closure. Clips that OTHER people made on their channels are independent and remain. Clips of your stream that were exported to other platforms (YouTube, TikTok) are unaffected.
Can I download my Kick data before deletion?+
Not via a self-service tool. In the EU/UK or California, file a GDPR/CCPA 'data access' request with privacy@kick.com BEFORE submitting the deletion email. Kick has to provide your personal data in a portable format within 30 days.
Will my payouts be processed if I delete during a payment cycle?+
Pending payouts are normally processed before final account closure but can get held up. File any outstanding tax forms (W-9 / W-8BEN equivalent) and confirm your payout method is current before requesting deletion to avoid stranded earnings.
