Terms of Service
Last updated: June 9, 2026
1. The service
Scrub scans publicly available sources to find accounts, data breaches, and other exposures tied to the email addresses, usernames, and domains you provide, and gives you guidance for removing them. We check public information only — we never access your accounts on other platforms.
2. Your identity, your inputs
You may only scan emails, usernames, and domains that belong to you or that you are authorized to scan (for example, a domain you control). Scanning other people's identifiers without authorization is prohibited and grounds for immediate account termination.
3. Plans, billing & cancellation
- Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. There are no contracts.
- You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; you keep paid access until the end of the current billing period.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
4. Accuracy of results
Scan results reflect what public sources report at scan time. We work hard to keep results accurate, but we can't guarantee completeness — platforms change, hide, or rate-limit their public data — and a result may occasionally match a different person who shares your username. You can dismiss false positives from your results.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Scrub to stalk, harass, or investigate other people; to resell scan data; or to probe, disrupt, or overload the service or the platforms we check.
6. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Questions? Email support@usescrub.com.
