How to delete your Bandcamp account
Bandcamp is a music and merch storefront for independent artists, where fans buy music directly from creators and creators keep the majority of revenue. Bandcamp stores your purchase history (every album, single, and merch item you ever bought), wishlist, fan collection, comments left on releases, and (for artists) your discography, supporter list, and payout tax forms. Bandcamp was acquired by Songtradr in 2022.
Delete your Bandcamp account, step by step

- 3Pick the 'I would like to delete my Bandcamp account' option (under Account)

Before you delete
Bandcamp deletion is NOT a self-service button — you have to email support. Closing your fan account erases your purchase history and wishlist; you lose the ability to re-download albums you bought (back up FLAC/MP3 files locally first). Artist accounts are more complex: discography is removed, supporters lose access to streamed downloads, and payout records are retained for tax purposes for ~7 years. Cancel Bandcamp+ before deletion.
Download your data from Bandcamp first
Most platforms only honor a data-export request while the account is still active. Do this before you delete.
